LOFT
“BREVET”
The
“olde” overnight flyers are pigeons from everywhere. In
2008 I had 8 widow cocks. From this 8 only 2 are left now, 1 pigeon
came not back from a flight, 1 pigeon went to the breeding loft and
the rest has been removed. The “team” of 2007 made his debut on
the overnight flights and they were rather sucessfull. My team for
2010 is rather young. My eldest flyer is a cock of 2005, the rest is
younger.
In
the strains of my cocks you say already where I want to build on my
loft. You see it also back in
the yearling hens which I played on 2 Bordeaux flights.
A
main strain is the one of Jan Polder. In 2006 I came in contact COR POLDER, the father of Jan. With a
very small loft he became marathon champion of 2005 in Goerree Over
Flakkee. I bought there 4 couples of eggs. At the moment I have 5
pigeons left of this (all hens) At the final auction in 2008 I could
buy one cock.
Also
I have pigeons of ARJAN BEENS, from Genemuiden. This man
is making super results the last years on the overnight flights. I
got 10 eggs and there are still 8 pigeons on my loft. In these
pigeons you see famous names like: Jan Polder, Gebr. Hagens,
Gebr. Limburg.
A
third strain are my GYSELBRECHT pigeons. They are also famous about
their website, www.pipa.be
In
2008 I got some pigeons of Lourens Jan Hengst from Aagtekerke. He is
performing very good the last 10-15 years on the overnight flights.
Specially with pigeons of Huib
Oostenrijk en Cas vd Graaff en Zn.
Also
I have some pigeons from VINCENT VD KERK and a cock from JOHAN HAMSTRA
